dd 1/12/1970 Incident 10/13-18/1977 damaged when hijacked by PFLP PMI - FRA diverted to FCO-LCA-BAH-DXB-ADE (damage to gear and engines when made emergency landing in sand and dirt. Captain killed by terrorists)-MGQ where stormed by GSG9 and Somali military. Repaired and returned to service. Now bought by the Federal Republic of Germany pending restoration in Germany. Parts ferried 27 Sept 2017. For display Dornier Museum Friedrichshafen.
